We have recently completed a management buy-out and are now embarking on an ambitious growth plan. To help us deliver on this plan, we are looking to high-quality individuals to join the team who are ambitious and want to make a difference. Are you an experienced digital marketing manager? Do you enjoy using your skills and expertise to influence decision making and support business growth? We are looking for a digital marketing optimisation manager to join our Marketing Team. You’ll be responsible for driving and measuring digital activity, developing insights and managing data strategy. Ideal candidates will be commercially astute with a highly analytical and inquisitive mindset. A passion for data visualisation and excellent communication skills are also key.


Key Responsibilities


  • Digital marketing
  • Manage, maintain and optimise our e-commerce website, driving conversions to sales
  • Build successful digital marketing campaigns, including paid activity across Google and social channels, particularly Facebook
  • Support the marketing team with optimisation of specific campaigns across different markets, for a range of courses
  • Lead email strategy and manage our current email platform, ensuring integrity of data and enabling effective segmentation
  • Build a robust testing strategy for our online presence, driving sales of courses across the path to purchase
  • Manage SEO strategy to improve brand visibility and achieve top rankings in organic international search
  • Advise the marketing team on best practices and opportunities for social media
  • Manage and advise on marketing tech stack, including current and future opportunities across email, CRM, marketing automation


Data & insights


  • Develop and deliver marketing reports and dashboards to inform key stakeholders
  • Support the implementation of a CRM system when required, including advising on best practices to enable targeted and personalised communications
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing activity, including customer journey reporting and analysis
  • Build and optimise digital forecasts for marketing performance and contribution to KPIs
  • Proactively develop actionable insights to help improve decision making and influence business strategies
  • Use data and insight to proactively seek opportunities to drive optimisation of end to end marketing activities


Key skills / experience

  • Fluent written and verbal English (mandatory)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Passionate, with strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Motivates, coaches and develops and delivers results through others
  • Extensive experience of driving digital performance, preferably in e-commerce
  • Prior experience of having maintained and optimised website performance
  • Solid experience with website analytics tools (GA), CRM systems and email technologies
  • Demonstrable experience of devising and leading SEO and paid media strategies which facilitate growth
  • Prior experience of working with data / analytics to improve digital performance
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Knowledge of predictive, attribution and LTV modelling (desirable)
  • Degree in related field
