Right now we’re looking for an ambitious, smart creative to join our team as an interior designer/architect (Ideally 2-3 years experience).

As part of a tight knit team of designers, makers and brand strategists, you’ll conceive and build spaces and experience identities and play an integral creative role for our clients.

You will consult across industries, on a range of brand topics (e.g., interior design, designing the experience, schematic drawings, sensorial experience, and customer experience), and use those insights and references to develop a creative approach to the experiential challenges faced by the client.

This is a permanent, and full time job, based at our HQ in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities could involve:

Gathering, organizing and summarizing references that match the intents of the project, into moodboards
To produce highly creative, credible design solutions
To prepare and deliver presentations to the internal team and to clients
Collaborating with other creatives and designers to explore alternatives and develop thinking (e.g., brainstorming sessions)
To work closely with our designer and strategy teams to dream up original and purposeful ideas
Contributing to the development and storyline of client presentations
To build up the skills and visual acumen of other members of the creative team
To develop strong relationships with the studio, clients and partners
To ensure deadlines are delivered accurately and on schedule
To lead on clear and objective critiques of creative work
To promote the philosophy, values, and beliefs of Slash.

Job specific requirements:

2-3 years experience in similar roles or proven design rolls.
High level development skills
Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work from concept to delivery
A diverse portfolio that demonstrates strong ideas-based thinking, interior systems – some experience in exhibition and experience design would be ideal, but not essential
To collaborate well with assigned Creative Director and support the team.
