Role Overview:


We are seeking a visionary Art Director to lead the visual conception of advertising, digital, and branding campaigns. In this role, you will ensure that visual concepts are innovative, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with brand strategy and client objectives. You will collaborate closely with Copywriters, Brand Strategists, and cross-functional teams in design, motion, and video to create cohesive and impactful campaigns. Additionally, this role plays a key part in fostering a sustainable, fair, and inclusive economy, in line with our in progress B-Corp certification values.


Key Responsibilities:


Visual Concept Development: Lead the creation of visual concepts for branding, advertising, and digital marketing campaigns. Collaborate with Brand Strategists and Copywriters to ensure cohesive and effective messaging.

Creative Execution Supervision: Oversee the production team, ensuring the creative vision is accurately executed through detailed briefings and feedback at all stages of the project.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Heads of Design, Digital, and Motion to align visual elements with technical and creative requirements across platforms.

Client Presentations: Assist in preparing and presenting visual concepts to clients, clearly communicating the creative rationale and ensuring alignment with campaign objectives.

Innovation and Trend Updates: Stay current with design trends, proposing new creative approaches to enhance market positioning.


Core Responsibilities & Skills:


• Ensure all visual projects meet GMA’s quality standards.

• Collaborate effectively within a creative team.

• Adapt to various projects and deadlines while maintaining innovation.

• Promote sustainable practices aligned with B-Corp principles.


Experience & Education:


• 5-7 years of experience in art direction/graphic design, with a strong portfolio.

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.


Technical Skills:


• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience in branding, digital design, UX/UI, and project management.

• Knowledge of AI for trend analysis and creative enhancement.


Behavioral Competencies:


• Creative and innovative, with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to ethics and sustainability.
