This work I did with the Prof. Marcelo de Araujo Carvalho's supervision from the Laboratório de Paleoecologia Vegetal, Departamento de Geologia e Paleontologia, Museu Nacional, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I made these paintings last year, but the article was only published now in the Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology journal. The main objective of this work was to rebuild the climate changes that have occurred during Cretaceous Aptian, based on fossil analyses from where is located now the State of Sergipe, in northeastern Brazil. The visible changes includes: the increase of humid conditions, a conspicuous change in vegetation, with an increase in ferns and upland flora, in particular Araucariacites australis. The reduction in the amount of Classopollis classoides and Sea-level changes.
