Este projeto foi desenvolvido no contexto académico, na Universidade de Kingston, em Londres. A proposta consistia no desenvolvimento do nosso portfolio individual, devendo este albergar todos os projectos desenvolvidos durante o semestre. 

O tema base do meu portfolio foi a frase:
"Tomorrow it´ll all be gone and the wonder will have faded away."

Uma frase que descobri algures na cidade de Londres, e que me deixou a pensar. Foi a grande originadora da minha colaboração, do meu livro de pesquisa, do meu trabalho fotográfico e, como não podia deixar de ser, do meu portfolio final.
Reflecte sobre a efemeridade da vida. Sobre como tudo é passageiro. A importância que as coisas têm, ou a falta dela. Os encantos que encontramos nos cantos, que com o tempo vão embora. Reflecte sobre o valor que as coisas têm... que as coisas tinham... que não voltam a ter? Sobre o quão estranho é o esquecimento. E tão injusto. E difícil de controlar, e triste de pensar. E um bocadinho assustador de explorar.

This project was developed in an academic context, at Kingston University, London UK. The brief consisted in the development of an individual portfolio, which should house all the projects developed during the semester.

The basic theme of my portfolio was the following phrase:
"Tomorrow it'll all be gone and the wonder will faded away."

I discovered that phrase somewhere in London, and it made me think. It was the great stimulator of my collaboration, my research book, my photography project and, of course, my final portfolio.
The project reflects on the ephemerality of life. About how everything is fleeting. The importance that things have, or the lack of it. The charms that we find in the corners, that with time go away. It reflects on the value that things have ... that things had ... that they will never again have? How strange is oblivion... So unfair. So difficult to control, and sad to think about. And a little scary to explore.
