Estas a mostrar as pernas?

"Objectification, a term coined in the early 1970s, consists of analyzing an individual at the level of an object, regardless of its emotional or psychological value."
When we speak of objectification of the female body we are referring to the trivialization of the image of the woman, that is: the appearance of women matters more than all other aspects that define them as individuals. "

Illustrations made in Linoleum.
This illustration came as a kind of rebellion.
One night like all the others, I roamed the city on my usual night walks. At one point, I hear a young man (possibly in his 20s) comment on the following:

"Bro, look at that bitch wearing a skirt."

I do not know if the normal reaction would be to approach the boys, but I did.
"Is she a bitch because she´s wearing a skirt?"They laughed and said yes.

I nodded and walked away.
This illustration is, in fact, a criticism. I linked the female body to the pig character. Are you showing your legs? Is your bra showing? Do you have more skin on display than is socially acceptable? Damn, disgusting!
Illustrations show a woman in underwear. Added the element of the Pig, and textual references as the expression "Que porcaria!" (the mess that pigs make) or "Quem diz é quem é" (if you´re insulting someone, that same is insult should be about yourself) is used here as a criticism of the low level, the absurd and utterly disgusting that the objectification of women really is, and how common it has become to hear comments like this on the streets.
