Velorama

Co-Founder and Curator.

São Paulo, May 2015 - On June 20, Saturday, São Paulo will gain a new multicultural space that will bring musical, artistic and gastronomic experiences, all related to the sustainable and sporting idea of bicycles. The Velorama Square, 250 m², located on 848 Rua Groenlândia, in Jardim Europa, will feature music, bar, food trucks and also a concept store mounted inside a container.

Velorama Square is the result of the partnership between Dirceu Neto, founding partner of the Brain Group and the B4i hub - a shared office that generates business - and Pablo Gallardo, designer, founding partner of the extinct Tag and Juice and creator of Juice Studio. "Dirceu had a space in the B4i where he wanted to do something different, and he called me to create together. It was six months of a lot of talk and ideas until we got the result we wanted. Our aim was an open place to gather friends, but with a host of services and experiences, including biking. In our view, São Paulo is lacking in such places, "comments Pablo.

The place will act as a space to meet people and share experiences in a quiet and extremely receptive environment, similar to the backyard of a friend's house. At the entrance, always a different food truck, and inside, a bar that will run from 5.30 pm during the week, and on Saturdays from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 12 a.m. to 8 p.m., with wooden tables and chairs, and the shop with clothes that talk with bicycle equipment, for sale in the same space.

On the walls, the arts of Adams Carvalho, Iago Mati, Henrique Edmx, Ciro Bicudo, Fabrizio Lenci and Francisco Martins. All are artists who work with design, each in its own way. However, they agreed to test their skills on a different medium, to intensify the concept of the place.
