Expression through music - Illustration
In this project we had to create a poster of self-representation where we should take into account some of the basic elements of visual communication. In order to represent myself I chose the music because besides enjoying I also play guitar. But what I like most about this is how we can express ourselves through it, expressing our feelings and opinions. So many songs have already been used as a protest act and this is what I like the most in music. To combine the fact that I like to play guitar and the way we can express ourselves I thought a little about the characteristics of the guitar that do not escape many human characteristics. And as in our body what we use most to express ourselves is the mouth and on the guitar there is a hole that has the name of mouth I decided to make an exchange of these elements making a joint of the two. This poster was hand-crafted, drawn in color pencil and later digitally worked. The principles thought for this poster were the shape, texture, movement, contrast, tone and color.
