The publication above is a compendium about Oranges and diverse topics related to this fruit, from science to art. However, the real aim of the project is to study the principles of the old book.
This object follows the form and thinking of Thesouro de Prudentes, a Portuguese book from 1664. It has the same type of organizational structure, typography and graphic details (such as handmade
illustrations and ornamental elements). This publication uses a textured brownish paper and is hand printed through transfer (cellulose diluent) as a way of remembering and emphasizing the unicity of the old book.
