Matthew Carter's Poster
My main target with this project was making a poster publicity of type designer Matthew Carter using one of his typefaces. Carter is a type designer with more than forty years’ experience of typographic technologies ranging from hand-cut punches to computer fonts.
To create a concept for my poster, I decided to use the idea of hand-cut punchesand computer fonts as manual print (halftone) and digital print (pixels). In manual print we always use CMYK colors so, I used a yellow CMYK and in a digital print, I used a blue RGB.
