Joana Vasconcelos is one of the most known Portuguese artists with an affirmed career within the international circuit of art.
This was the second website of the artist, which replaced the first one that I have already made in 2005. The main purpose of the project was to showcase the complete work of the artist over almost twenty years of career, highlighting the main work over the years and allowing a clear and easy understanding of her course.
Without missing that clarity, an emotional relation with the users was maintained through some central videos to the navigation that show the backstage of her routine and bring the users a little more into her universe.
The website has a back office connected to the internal archive system of the artist that was made by “Sistemas do Futuro”. I made the design and the front office development.
