Briefing
Facing an exponential growth within the Portuguese teams, BNP Paribas' Communication in Portugal decided to create a distinct image to brand the Portuguese branch of the Group. It had to have Portuguese characteristics and elements, although it should be facing the future, and not basing the communication on touristic landmarks.
So, after brainstorming and researching, I decided to have a look based on the most visually appealing Portuguese features, our Architecture. Also, I figured we shouldn't exclude completely the traditional elements, so I decided to explore and deconstruct one of our most beloved features: the Portuguese tile. You can see part of the process below.
The final result was a sober and corporate layout, that played with transparency’s within the BNP green palette, and used some details of Portuguese modern buildings that fitted the geometric composition. We had two final options that were both approved to be used in presentations, website, or any other communications.
Brochure
After finding the final image for the Portuguese branch, the challenge was to create a brochure based on a presentation for print. I was completely free to propose a size and layout composition, but having to respect some of the previous elements used in the presentation. So again, I used the geometric figures and colors, and harmonized the available elements.
Digital Brochure
After closing the printed version, a digital version both in english and Portuguese was made on a wordpress platform. I had to adapt elements, create new icons, new imagery, and readjust the layout to the platform.
