Contexto
A Fundação PAAJAF, localizada no país de Gana, é uma instituição com foco no desenvolvimento social de criança em idade escolar. A maioria das crianças na região de Gbawe (região de Grande Acra) não pode frequentar a escola devido à falta de escolas públicas na região e à longa distância para alcançar as disponíveis. A maioria dos pais tem más condições financeiras, o que é impossível para eles pagarem pela educação. O PAAJAF é a única opção nessa área para essas crianças que precisam de uma escola. Em alguns casos, as crianças também são órfãs e na maioria das vezes são deixadas com a própria sorte.
A educação é a base para as crianças crescerem intelectualmente, desenvolverem suas habilidades e capacidades e aprenderem a interagir com o mundo ao seu redor. Mantê-los fora da escola está claramente comprometendo seu futuro em uma idade tão jovem.
Context
The PAAJAF Foundation, located in the country of Ghana, is an institution focused on the social development of schoolchildren. Most children in the Gbawe region (Greater Accra region) cannot go to school due to the lack of public schools in the area and the long distance to reach the ones available. Most parents have poor financial conditions, which is impossible for them to pay for education. PAAJAF is the only option in this area for these children in need of a school. In some cases, children are also orphans and most of the times are left to their own luck.
Education is the base for children to grow intellectually, to develop their skills and capacities and to learn to interact with the world around them. Keeping them out of school is clearly undermining their future at such a young age.
