Branding for Clara Fernandes
An experienced coach launched her personal brand with her name, as well as her site and new social media looks to make it cohesive. I created the logo as well as the guidelines and all the visual aspects of her new brand.
The briefing was clear: It had to be a personal brand, using the client's name and reflect a bit of her personality, through strong and warm colours. Also, the elements should translate the business itself.
So, the solution, after some back and forth, was working with a straight font like Gotham, distorting the elements to create a symbol for the central element, her name, CF, and add a warm, flowy texture, to complement the rigid shapes. Also, an arrow and semi-circle were added inside the C to symbolise a compass, translating the coaching goal, to give guidance and help finding a way.
To complement the straight font used for branding identity, Gotham, was added a secondary handwritten font, Beautiful Dreams Brush.
We decided to work with a large colour palette so there could be flexibility and intensity to the brand. The liquid marble texture created for the effect reflected all these warm amber and orange tones, bringing energy, fluidity and depth.
