Peeking through the cracks
Photography / Editorial
This project was created within the academic context. The proposal consisted in the creation of a photographic series around the metropolitan area of Porto. The goal was to develop a set of photographs supported by a relational discourse between images.
For me, the project arose from the desire to capture flaws, a break in the pattern, the deterioration of tiles as the aging of one of the typical icons of Porto. This photographic series was not executed in a pejorative manner, but rather as an observation exercise to capture the different flaws that had until then passed me unnoticed.
As an output for this project, it was created a catalog that contains each image, the precise location of each one and a map of the places where the photographs were taken. The images can be extracted from the catalog and viewed individually or together with the rest.
