Sabores e Letras
This is an academic project consisting on the development of a logo for an hypothetical scenario in which 3 friends open a pastry shop in Coimbra. In this shop, books are available to costumers to read during their meals, hence the name (Sabores = Flavours & Letras = Letters).
The approach to this challenge was to create a typeface and an iconographic system using the same 3x10 grid in order to create an harmonious relation between the two. The pictograms represent the food aspects of the shop, while the typeface represents its literary character.
