Challenge
The campus of the Eindhoven University of Technology has many buildings, outdoor spaces and even a sport center. Students from different cultures and backgrounds use these spaces to read, study, chat, eat or even take a nap. However, they do not often explore different spaces, tending to remain in the building where they have classes.
Our hypothesis is that this happens because students are not aware of all the spaces that exist. In addition, we believe that the choice to explore another space might be limited by the fact they do not know if the space will have enough sitting space, be quiet or have a canteen.

User Testing
4 out of 5 participants indicated to be interested in actually using the system if it would be available.
Points for improvement
- The add button disappears too fast, making it not easy to use (3/5 participants)
- Users tend to interact with the labels rather than the scrolling wheel (5/5)
- Users would like to see more mood/activity options while scrolling (4/5)
Positive points
- High accuracy (all tasks were successfully completed)
