Crioestaminal is a company that preserves stem cells from newly born babies so they can be used to treat future diseases.
As the subject of this company is complex, the main goal they requested was to make the website more easy to be understand for the main target audience. It was also requested to improve the visual design and make the website more user-friendly.
After doing the benchmark, I created a new information architecture (which became more simple and easy to access for the user).
The colours that were used are based on the main brand guidelines which the company provided.
Homepage
For the homepage, besides the goals mentioned above, I focused on creating more impact when the user reach this page. I decided to create a large banner with an image of a beautiful baby where the user can click on ‘Ver Vídeo’ (Play Video) button to watch a small video about the company and their services. Below this area there are the three main advantages of using their services and three small sections: about the company, how to order the kit and asking questions to the company. On the end of this page there are a area for testimonials of parents that have used this service and the last area is about the latest news. All these areas are designed based on the rules to improve the website’s SEO.
Células Estaminais (Stem Cells)
For this page, it was used the tab system to simplify the content access. Each tab has a specific content and below them there is an area with a call-to-action button for the user to order the kit.
