BURIED CROWS PROJECT
The BURIED CROWS is a small personal project of several horror tales in comic. The idea started when i took a photo reference to draw myself as an animated character. I liked it so much that i wanted to do something more with that, so i planned to build a comic book. the initial objective was to be just a great story with characters created with reference to people who were close to me, but then I chose to create short stories instead of a big story because it would be easier to take references and illustrate, and to explore several themes instead of just one.
This was the first fast sketch that origin the idea of doing the comic book. I wanted something cool, edgy and kinda gory.
This is a second sketch that i did, more realistic and polished. So this was the final illustration it was the base that i created to start the comic style that i really wanted.
After that i started creating more characters that I planned to put on the comics, when I still had the idea of making a more complete story.
I also thought about making it colorful. But it´s still hard for me use colors in my digital illustrations besides the red one.
