Theform - Finalist of New European Bauhaus
Theform is a project developed for the New European Bauhaus Rising Stars Competition.
It's one of the 3 finalists for "Techniques, materials and processes for construction and design" category. There were 10 different categories, with 3 finalists each.
It's a continuous development of the research made for Bolhas Lamp, 3rd prize winner of Serralves's INOVDesign competition. Theform is intended to be a virtual real-time configuration and colaboration studio for designers of different sectors: architecture, product design, jewelry and fashion, for example. This project is aimed to create a global network of digital manufacturing partners and create more diverse products from the same design input, co-design with the local community and lower carbon emissions from mass production and transportation.
