Hand Lettering Soccer Court
This soccer court is located in the 2 de Maio neighbourhood in Lisbon. The neighbourhood gets its name because on May 2nd of 1974, right after the peaceful revolution that overthrew the authoritarian regime, hundreds of people took over the unfinished buildings and occupied them for the years to come.
Inspired by the local architecture, the Tagus river and the open sky that can be seen so well from the court, I created this orthogonal typographic composition in shades of blue.
This pitch was the largest project I have ever done, and I am thrilled with the final result. I hope this space can be the stage for many games and good moments!
