Esta ilustração foi realizada no âmbito da cadeira de Ilustração da Licenciatura de Design Gráfico para uma notícia acerca da morte de Mário Soares. Para este conceito com um pano de fundo triste e melancólico decidi abraçar os tons preto e branco do jornal e destacar a figura do Ex-Presidente da República Portuguesa. A junção de pedaços de várias notícias onde falava do mesmo ajudou-me a criar uma mancha negra com a icónica pose do mesmo como que a abraçar os Portugueses e a despedir-se da vida.
This illustration was carried out in the context of the Graphic Design Degree’s Illustration subject for a news item about the death of Mário Soares. For this concept, with a sad and melancholy background, I decided to embrace the black and white tones of the newspaper and highlight the figure of the former Portuguese Republic President. Putting together pieces of news where he spoke about the same thing helped me to create a black stain with the iconic pose of the same person, as if he was embracing the Portuguese people and saying goodbye to life.
