The challenge was clear: to create a visual identity that spoke of land, roots, and ancestry, without resorting to the colors of the Angolan flag. No red and black as a cultural shortcut. The answer had to come from somewhere else.I immersed myself in the tones of the soil, in the palettes that time leaves on the walls of ancient cities, in the burnt ochres and browns that Africa carries from before any flag existed. The concept emerged from there: The land as a primary identity, prior to the state, prior to politics, something that belongs to the people before it belongs to a country.
