ABOUT
Boca de Sino is a community-driven disco, soul and funk movement based in Braga, Portugal. Led by Boogie Bootin, the duo formed by Ricardo Araújo Carvalho and André Guimarães, it was created with a simple purpose: bringing people together through music, energy and celebration.
For this project, I developed a visual identity inspired by the rich graphic universe of vinyl culture, drawing references from record sleeves, retro labels, tropicalism aesthetics and the visual language of disco and soul.
The result is a flexible identity system designed to evolve across every event, allowing each edition to develop its own atmosphere while remaining unmistakably Boca de Sino.
CONCEPT
The identity takes inspiration from the visual culture surrounding vinyl records, from classic sleeves and label designs to the textures, colours and imperfections that define an era.
At its core is a dynamic visual system built around adaptability. Rather than creating a fixed identity, the goal was to design a framework capable of shifting in colour, composition and expression across different editions while maintaining a strong and recognisable presence.
This approach allows Boca de Sino to continually reinvent itself without losing the essence that connects its growing community.
