Zilli Caffè
Zilli Caffè is a modern Italian coffee spot in Bromley, UK fronted by chef Aldo Zilli. Created to bring a fresh, uplifting take on the Italian café experience, it leans into everyday joy by being approachable, vibrant and full of character. The challenge was to build a modern-retro identity that nods to Italian roots while feeling current and unpretentious.
The outcome is a simple, playful system: a bold, characterful “Zilli” paired with a grounding italian “Caffè” wordmark, a contrasting retro colour palette, loose line illustrations that bring the café’s world to life and a signature coffee steam detail that turns a daily cup into a small brand moment. Rolled out across packaging promo materials and menus, it delivers everyday Italian with a twist.
