À TABLE RONDE!
A 3-star urban and social restaurant.
Let's add some gastronomy to social help.
For my diploma, I thought of a way to create social link between a famous charity organisation and two cooks of a prestigious Parisian restaurant, le Meurice. By using vegetables and fruit leftovers from Rungis, the biggest market in Paris, the chefs sublimated this waste into a gourmet's menu. In the meantime, passers-by and people in need gather together around a free and exceptional meal that helps erase the barriers between social classes.
À TABLE RONDE is calling for conviviality and solidarity in the public space.
The set of furniture — tables, trestles, cooks' work station — materialises the restaurant. It is separated in different zones, and creates a good visibility for the event. Like pieces of a toy, it has been thought to be disassembled and stocked into a truck when the temporary restaurant's meal is finished.
